Designing highways is more than drawing a line between a starting point and a destination. The motorway has to integrate with its surroundings and consider the terrain, rules, regulations, procedures and stakeholders. Virtual Design & Construction
We can use a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) method to give shape to the integral design of infrastructure objects, using the Building Information Model (BIM) to virtually integrate and model the design, process and organization. We are able to involve stakeholders in the design process and achieve their buy-in, as well as shorter project duration and insight into the lifecycle costs.
